Hampshire Barbell Club

Fareham Barbell Club was established in 2017 and first opened it's doors to lifters in 2018. In 2021 the Club expanded, moved to larger premises in Portsmouth and for that reason changed its name to Hampshire Barbell Club.

The club is run by Przemek Borak and Jo MacManus and now has over 70 members ranging in age from 13 to 58 years and includes beginners through to lifters who compete on the national and international stage.

Hampshire Barbell Club is affiliated to British Weightlifting.
